Is this for you?

Capable, and still struggling.

If you've been wondering whether ADHD explains a lifelong pattern of struggling with focus, organisation, time management or follow-through — even though you're clearly capable — a formal assessment can give you clarity. Many adults reach this point after years of self-doubt, burnout, or being told they're "not trying hard enough."

An ADHD assessment doesn't just result in a yes/no answer. It gives you a clear picture of how your brain works, what's contributing to your difficulties, and a practical path forward.

What to expect

A thorough, structured process.

Booking and pre-assessment questionnaires

You'll complete some background forms and rating scales before your first session.

Clinical interview

A structured conversation about your history, current difficulties and the contexts they show up in. 60–90 minutes.

Informant questionnaire

A parent, partner, or close friend or colleague completes a short rating scale to add an outside perspective. Recommended, though not always required.

Report preparation

Your results are scored, integrated, and written up against diagnostic criteria.

Feedback session

We go through the report together and talk about what comes next. 30–45 minutes.

Fees

One fee, the whole process.

Questions

Frequently asked.

How long does the whole process take?

Typically 1–2 weeks, depending on your availability and how quickly you and your informant complete the assessment forms.

Will I get medication as part of this?

No. As a psychologist, I don't prescribe medication. If ADHD is diagnosed and you're interested in exploring medication, I can refer you to a psychiatrist or your GP for that conversation, and provide them with my full report.

What if the assessment doesn't confirm ADHD?

A thorough assessment sometimes finds that another explanation — such as anxiety, depression or sleep difficulties — better accounts for your symptoms. If that happens, we'll talk through what the findings do suggest and what support might help.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is required to book an assessment.
